Stewardship and Finance
Stewardship is working to design the 2007-08 appeal so that parishioners have a clear picture of the Grace Church budget. Similarly we hope to indicate service opportunities where our time and talents are most needed. Aware of the time constraints we all face, we want to present some mini-ministries that offer the satisfaction of giving to Grace and joining with fellow parishioners. Our essential effort is to present Christian Stewardship as a spiritual practice in which we give to God the first fruits of our labors. We make the promise to contribute a share of our personal financial resources, our time and our talents to support our church and those persons and ministries that make it thrive. Supported by this community of faith we dare to believe in God's own generosity. Christ expressed this generosity as “a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, (which) will be put into your lap...".
