This is the 4th Sunday of the month For the recipient of our fourth Sunday offering, the Outreach Commission has selected the Welcoming Refugees Resettlement Project of Catholic Charities for their efforts to help refugees settling in the Pioneer Valley. The Project offers welcome, placement and resettlement services for newly arriving refugees to this country. Its commitment is to provide financial, material and case management to the newly arrived refugees during their first year of resettlement. It is also its mission to continue to monitor and accompany them over the next 5 years in their journey toward greater self-sufficiency. If you write a check, please make it payable to Grace Church and add “outreach” on the memo line. Thank you for any gift you are able to give.

Graduations and Commencements! On Sunday, June 9th, we would like to recognize all who are graduating, from Pre-school to Post-Doctorate. Send us their names, so we can include them in the service. If they are pursuing further studies, please let us know that too. Please contact Terrie Korpita in the Parish office at 413.256.6754 or tkorpita@gracechurchamherst.org to request recognition.
The ClimateAction@Grace Committee has set up a poster of a tree in the back of the church near the bell tower. Please add leaves to the tree to show things you are doing now to help care for creation. We hope to have the tree full of leaves by Earth Day (April 22)!

Save the Date
Haiti Ministry The coming school year: St. Matthieu’s School in Bayonnais, Haiti, is finishing a successful academic year in the face of enormous obstacles. Grace Church has generously supported this brave, everyday effort to build a better future. And now the Haiti Ministry is looking ahead to the coming year. Beginning June 2, we’ll be raising funds for school uniforms and supplies for St. Matthieu’s 250 students. Every contribution is valuable. We recommend $50 for the cost of a uniform and $25 for supplies for one student. Other amounts help toward these goals and provide a hedge against unstable prices. To donate: write a check to Grace Episcopal Church with “Haiti Ministry – uniforms” in the subject line; or go to the church website, click “give,” go to “Haiti Ministry” in the dropdown, and mention uniforms in the “note” space; or go to coffee hour on Sundays after June 2, where we’ll be ready to meet you. Mèsi anpil!
