Haiti Ministry: School uniforms and supplies Matthieu’s School in Bayonnais, Haiti, is finishing a successful academic year in the face of enormous obstacles. We are thrilled that we can look ahead to next year! Once again, we’re asking for your help to fund school uniforms and supplies for 250 students. Any contribution is valuable. We recommend $75: $50 to cover the cost of uniform, and $25 for supplies for one student. To donate, visit us at coffee hour, send a check, or use the Grace website, noting “Haiti Ministry: uniforms.” To learn more, visit graceinhaiti.org. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Greening Grace What can we do as individuals to reduce our carbon footprint? We’ll be posting two ideas a week for the summer. Here are a few ideas from Greening Grace. Lucy Robinson
- Hang clothes outside instead of using a dryer. Let nature dry your clothes for free!
- Install solar panels to reduce your energy cost.
