Dear friends,

As you probably are aware already, tropical storm/hurricane Henri is heading our way and expected to hit southern New England.  The forecasts expect the effects of Henri being felt as early as Sunday morning with the worst weather occurring Sunday afternoon into the evening and early morning Monday.

Governor Baker has requested that Massachusetts residents stay off the roads all day Sunday, and a local weather forecast recommends that people in our area should consider staying in place beginning midnight tonight.

Given the serious risks and safety concerns, we are canceling this Sunday’s 9:30 service at Grace Church.  Your safety and the safety of everyone is paramount and the risk is too great.  If you are able, please do not go out anytime during the storm.  For updates on the storm and for information on how to prepare for the storm, please check the local news stations and https://www.mass.gov/

If there is electricity tomorrow morning, we will have a brief prayer service via Zoom at 9:30am.  DO NOT COME TO THE CHURCH.
